Welcome! My name is Susie Gaal and I am a St. Louis based children's photographer specializing in natural light. If you or someone you know is 32+ weeks pregnant and would love a free maternity session, email me by tomorrow afternoon! I am looking for a couple maternity models to shoot in the next few weeks. I’m only taking 2-3, so if you are interested please let me know as soon as possible. And here’s one of my favorite baby bumps from 2009.
As a photographer and a mommy I love ALL baby parts - little feet (piggies), chubby cheeks, belly buttons, smushy lips, dimpled hands, bums, lashes…the list could go on and on! Did I forget to mention dimples? Yes, dimples too. These 2 sweet little girls have the best lips & lashes. I just love to photograph them! And they are wonderful clients to boot. Here’s a sneak peek of J’s 9 month session and a few of big sister too.

Ok I’m finally coming out of the dark ages and making my presence on Facebook! I’ve had a personal page on facebook for a while, but just hadn’t taken the time to set up a business page. 2010 is my year for getting it done. As promised, here are a few more favorites of J & D from the past few weeks. Although its freezing again, I am so happy to see the sun reappear. This weekend’s sessions will be indoors due to the frigid temps. More to come from those soon. Hope you all are staying warm!

I was so excited when the weather predicted temps in the 40’s. Unfortunately that was not the case Sunday morning! These 2 little men were such troopers! We ended up having lots of fun and even spending some time in the heated bathroom. You do what you gotta do! Z is 5 and J just celebrated his 2nd birthday. I’m so happy I got to capture their milestone regardless of the cold!!

I’m having so much fun doing this amazing workshop right now. I’ll be kinda wrapped up in it for the next couple weeks, so if I take a little longer than usual to get back to you I’m SO sorry! I will be back soon with even more inspiration and creativity because of it. Here’s a self portrait (definitely a challenge for me since I’m ALWAYS behind the camera) that was from one of my first assignments. Thanks for your patience! 
Newborns are such a gift…this one arrived a little early on Christmas Eve. He is just precious! And so are his big sister and brother. They are so sweet and gentle with their baby brother and to each other. I know 3 can be tough, but the morning I was there they were absolute angels. I will cross my fingers that it stays that way!! Thanks for a great session.
This is my first session in 2010 and what a great way to start the new year! I’m feeling rested and revived and excited about all that 2010 will bring. Baby A is 6 weeks old, but he was 6 weeks early so he’s still a newbie. He was a super-model! I loved every minute of this session. Thanks for letting me in your home S family! I look forward to documenting all his milestones.
