I am a HUGE fan of the little boy faux hawk and thanks to 2 week old baby E I’m now an even bigger fan of the newborn fuzzy haired faux hawk. Little E’s soft furry whispy strands naturally go into the cutest tiny hawk I have EVER seen. See for yourself! I was so happy to get to photograph a friend from high school’s brand new baby boy. And to catch up with R in the process. So fun to see you and to meet your adorable little man!
C is officially a graduate of my first year package. It amazes me every year that goes by how quickly it happens. He went from precious tiny newbie to adorable big kid in a blink. I’ve loved capturing him every couple months over the last year. I know the next time I see him he’ll be running! Thanks for a wonderful year!!
Well technically I think he’s 10 months now, but who’s counting. A is one of my first year babies and illness and cold pushed back our 9 month session to 10 months. Either way he is a little cutie so it doesn’t matter. We got to wait and get a nice warm (well warmer) sunny day. See you guys in April!
Gotta get this blog post up quick, since L could pretty much go any day now! L was 37 + weeks when we did her session over the weekend. Although we had to shoot mid-day when the sun is not always my camera’s friend, I’m thrilled we did. Her belly is perfect. And the sun did warm us up a bit. Thanks so much for a fun afternoon. And for bringing along those adorable booties! I love the bootie image for its sentimental value alone (they were dad’s from his own baptism) and because they are a size 0. How cute is that? I hope your labor and delivery goes smoothly and that he comes out as perfect as he is inside.
One 3 week old baby, a warm house, a full tummy and lots of love…perfect! I know I say this all the time, but I’ll say it again just ’cause I wanna - I LOVE NEWBORNS. Head over heels for a full round tummy complete with a perfect little belly button, those tiny little piggies, soft whispy hair and all the parts that come with a newborn baby. Thank you D family for letting me into your home to capture K at this special time. 
This weekend finally provided one nice warmer sunny day. I’m so glad we had rescheduled the first session to get this one in on such a nice day. I had a great time with T and her bunny. I absolutely LOVE that she carries her bunny with her and wanted her to be a part of her pictures (thank you mom & dad for that)! Some of my favorite images of my own children include the things they love best as well, their “loveys”. There’s just something about a well loved “lovey” that makes an image more than just a picture. Thanks for a great morning!!
Fresh snow + a beautiful momma = an amazing maternity session! A is 35 weeks pregnant and has the most perfect round baby bump…I love it! She was so awesome to endure the elements and get this snowy, cold maternity session in. It was so much fun to use the beautiful freshly fallen snow. Actually a lot of these were taken while it was still lightly falling. Thank you for making my job so easy and so much fun, you are a total trooper!
I love that I get to photograph M every 3 months! He has changed so much since his newborn shots, he has fuzzier hair, chubbier cheeks and is much much bigger! He was such a doll at our shoot, following my eyes and camera everywhere I went…bright eyed and happy. Shouldn’t every session with me be that way?!
I LOVE the old film feel to this one, kind of grainy and real.

As a photographer and a mommy I love ALL baby parts - little feet (piggies), chubby cheeks, belly buttons, smushy lips, dimpled hands, bums, lashes…the list could go on and on! Did I forget to mention dimples? Yes, dimples too. These 2 sweet little girls have the best lips & lashes. I just love to photograph them! And they are wonderful clients to boot. Here’s a sneak peek of J’s 9 month session and a few of big sister too.
Oh and how could I forget to mention curls? Love big sister's!!
